Bordeaux creates a mix of emotions. Sometimes Bordeaux embodies everything that is wrong and elitist in the world of wine. Sometimes it's an amazing cheap and tasty bargain.
And every once in a while, Bordeaux represents the historical endurance of wine as a passion and expression of creative and stubborn winemakers. But whatever it is, at the end of the day, it's still something to know. Or at least worth drinking.
“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
(We’re pretty sure that Aristotle drank wine.)
